Art in Public Places 2010
Monday 8th March – Sunday 18th April
Art in Public Places is coordinated by Hobsons Bay City Council and is held in conjunction with the Bayside and Williamstown Festivals as a municipal wide event that exhibits the artwork of western region artists in businesses and various venues across Hobsons Bay.
Now in its seventh year, Art in Public Places has continuously grown.
Participation in Art in Public Places is an effective way to promote businesses and artists in Hobsons Bay. Various marketing and media attention surrounds the project increasing the profile of participating businesses and artists.
The project aims to strengthen our community through building stronger partnerships between artists and businesses in the local community.
Deadline for submission of an expression of interest is Monday, October 19th, 2009.

News Flash!
Congratulations to Hobsons Bay City Council, Hobsons Bay Businesses and Western Region Artists for being named the winner of the Australia Business Arts Foundation ( AbaF) Toyota Community Award in Victoria for 2009. This is the 3rd consecutive year that the partnerships created through Art in Public Places have been recognised for this award.
Thank you to all exhibiting artist and participating businesses, without you this would not be possible.

Expressions of interest
are now open.
Western region artists are invited to register for Art in Public Places 2010 under two categories; Artists in Businesses (visual artists exhibiting in businesses), and Special Events (hosting or organising an event in Hobsons Bay).
